Data, Innovation, and Health Equity – Part 1, featuring Stacy Lofton
The 2nd annual National Health Equity Hackathon took place in November of 2019. Utilizing 211 data (provided by The United Way of Greater Houston and The United Way of Greater Austin) along with other open datasets including Medicare, Medicaid, and CDC data, the event united multiple tech disciplines around a common goal of eliminating health disparities.
In this series, recorded live from the hackathon, Fred Trotter sits down with Stacy Lofton of Harris County Public Health, Jeff Reichman of January Advisors, and Adimika Arthur of HealthTech For Medicaid to discuss the amazing ways these datasets can work together to benefit marginalized and underserved populations.
