DocGraph Journal Now CareSet Journal, New Website, and New Office

A lot has happened over the past half-year at CareSet. We’ve moved offices, we’re rebuilding our website, and we have renamed CareSet Labs to CareSet Journal. Read on for more!

We’ve moved!

CareSet team at new officeIt has been quite the journey at the Texas Medical Center. We started as a cohort in their X program, learning how to get started, and how to keep going. Then we transitioned to the x+ side as we continued to learn and grow. What began as a team of eight is now a team of nearly 24 and growing. We are incredibly thankful for the team at TMCx and will miss them greatly.

We’re now CareSet Journal!

We have officially decided to rebrand “CareSet Labs,” formerly the DocGraph Journal, to CareSet Journal. In 2012, Fred released The DocGraph dataset. This dataset has been downloaded a plethora of times by researchers, commercial analytics teams, and more. CareSet Labs/DocGraph Journal was a way to host curated datasets, as well as the datasets we released. As we begin to find our footing as data journalists, this becomes more than just a way to access data. We look forward to digging into the data ourselves and finding trends, new insights, and novel ideas. We will continue to be advocates of open data and are excited about the new chapter.

We’re getting a new website!

We will be overhauling our website in the near future, so be ready for a new look. We want something that is easy to navigate, use, and is aesthetically pleasing. Over the years as we’ve made changes and pivots; our website has not been at the forefront, mainly due to a lack of resources. Now we are buckling down and are excited to provide a great online experience for our pharma friends, as well as our open data friends.
