Job Description / Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include:
- Developing new business among pharma clients who have buy and bill drug portfolios, or treat Medicare-aged populations
○ Close 5 six-figure deals with pharma clients in first 12 months
- Prospect, develop and expand relationships among pharma stakeholders
- Function as key member of the solution team from project scoping through to delivery
- Meet the administrative responsibilities of the position:
○ After all meetings, follow up with prospects by email within 24 hours
○ Enter leads, meetings, and opportunities in Salesforce within 24 hours
○ Update active opportunities and close inactive opportunities in Salesforce weekly
○ Write clear and concise proposals and SOWs
○ Assist other members of the team as they write data specifications, to ensure that they meet client needs
- Manage deals through close
- Work with marketing to maximize inbound leads
Minimum Qualifications / Education / Work Experience
Additional information:
- Up to 50% travel required
- Remote candidates encouraged
- Commission provided in addition to salary
Preferred Experience
Experience: Proven track record of successful experience selling data or tech solutions to pharma clients. Hunters, not farmers. 5+ years or working with data in pharma/biotech. Keen understanding for how data is used today to make marketing decisions
