Decode 10+ years of Medicare claims for 50 million patients to deliver high quality insights to our biopharma clients. You will be a part of our in-house team of Data experts. You love data, and you love answering questions with data. You are not only able to write clean code, but you understand how to document your methods and approaches to make life easier for other developers. You also don’t just look at the numbers and pass them on unexamined. You appreciate that data is only as good as the insights you get from them, and your technical skills help you get to those insights better and faster than anyone else.

Job Description / Essential Job Functions

Outcomes:

  • Implement methodologies and best practices developed by sales engineers and Clinical Claims Director
  • Work with sales engineers and Clinical Claims Director to resolve unclear methodologies
  • Produce high quality data analysis for clients on schedule
  • Review code of other data engineers
  • Assemble data into reports for client delivery 
  • Work with project managers to ensure a high quality, low variability work product that honors patient safety principles
  • Help mature internal automation tools that minimize data processing and run times 

Minimum Qualifications / Education / Work Experience

Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Health Outcomes; or an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science and 2+ years of work experience; or equivalent
  • Healthcare data analysis required, claims and Medicare-specific preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL and 3+ years SQL query writing required
  • Statistical programming experience required, Python NumPy or Pandas preferred
  • Basic statistical knowledge required, advanced knowledge preferred
  • DataBricks experience preferred 
  • Experience designing data tables and data reports to address specific business questions required
  • Biopharma industry experience preferred
